WEEK OF JUNE 21, 2021

Monday, June 21,  2021            

  • R.W. Dunteman Company poured concrete pavement for northbound and southbound Weiland Road west of the Weiland Road bridge, placed capping aggregate on eastbound Lake Cook Road from the Target and Walmart intersection to Lexington Drive in preparation for the concrete pavement pours, and excavated, prepared subgrade, and placed aggregate subgrade at the west side of the IL-83 and Weiland Road intersection in preparation for the concrete pavement

  • Trine removed existing storm sewer pipe and structures along Weiland Road by Woodstone Drive and continued to install 8” water main along St Mary’s Parkway

​

  • Areatha continued to frame the west approach slab sidewalk for Weiland Road Bridge

​

  • Home Towne erected mast arms and traffic signal posts on the northeast and northwest corner of the Weiland Road and IL-83 intersection

Tuesday, June 22, 2021

  • R.W. Dunteman Company formed and prepared for the concrete pavement pour for the right and left turn lanes along Weiland Road west of the Weiland Road Bridge, prepared forms for the concrete pavement at the northwest corner of Lake Cook Road and Weiland Road, poured curb and gutter along IL-83 and the pavement sleeper slab at the Weiland Road and IL 83 intersection, and continued to place aggregate capping stone along eastbound Lake Cook Road in preparation for the concrete pavement pours

  • Trine continued to install storm sewer pipe and structures along westbound Lake Cook Road east of Buffalo Grove Road and continued to install new water main along Buffalo Grove Road and St Mary’s Parkway

  • Areatha set forms and prepared for the sidewalk, median, and south parapet on Buffalo Grove Road Bridge

​

  • Home Towne wired cabinets and installed mast arm for traffic signal posts by IL-83 and Weiland Road

  • AC Iron tied rebar for the Weiland Road Bridge sidewalk and median

  • R.W. Dunteman Company poured curb and gutter along IL-83 and Weiland Road north of Lake Cook Road, continued to place capping aggregate along eastbound Lake Cook Road from the Target and Walmart intersection to Hastings Lane in preparation for the concrete pavement, and excavated and prepares subgrade at the northwest corner of IL-83 and Lake Cook Road

  • Trine continued to remove and replace storm sewer pipe and structures along westbound Lake Cook Road east of Buffalo Grove Road and continued to install water main along Buffalo Grove Road and St Mary’s Parkway

​

  • Areatha poured the wearing surface on the east approach slab, framed the north parapet wall of Weiland Road Bridge, and installed geotextile wall drains for retaining wall C

​

  • Home Towne continued to install conduits by Lake Cook Road and Lexington Drive and along eastbound Lake Cook Road by the McDonald’s driveway for the lighting and traffic signal interconnect

  • R.W. Dunteman Company poured curb and gutter along Weiland Road north of Lake Cook Road, poured the left and right turn lanes along Weiland Road west of the Weiland Road Bridge, and placed capping aggregate and fine grade in preparation for concrete pavement along eastbound Lake Cook Road

​

  • Trine placed storm sewer frames along the gutter line of IL-83 and along Weiland Road north of Lake Cook Road, continued to install water main along St Mary’s Parkway, completed the flushing and pressure test on the new water main by Buffalo Grove Road and St Mary’s Parkway, collected first day samples of chlorine from the water main run by the Lou Malnati’s, and hauled out spoils from the water main work

​

  • Areatha continued to frame the north parapet wall, poured the concrete median, poured the west approach sidewalk, and poured the south parapet wall on Weiland Road Bridge

​

  • Home Towne placed mast arms at the Weiland Road and IL-83 intersection

​

  • Maintenance Coating Co removed the temporary concrete barrier wall at the IL-83 and Weiland Road intersection and removed the temporary concrete barrier wall from eastbound Lake Cook Road between the Target and Walmart intersection to Hastings Lane

​

  • Industrial Fence Inc removed the temporary attenuators from the IL-83 and Weiland Road intersection and removed attenuators along eastbound Lake Cook Road from the Target and Walmart to Lexington Drive

  • Trine placed storm sewer frames along the gutter line on southbound Weiland north of Lake Cook Road and collected water samples and chlorinate the water main installed along Buffalo Grove and St Mary’s Parkway

  • Industrial Fence Inc removed the temporary attenuators from eastbound Lake Cook Road between Lexington Drive and Hastings Lane
