WEEK OF AUGUST 10, 2020

Monday, August 10, 2020

  • R.W. Dunteman Company continued to work on the cofferdam at Buffalo Grove Creek in preparation for the Weiland Road Bridge construction. R.W. Dunteman Company laid out patches for temporary pavement on westbound Lake Cook Road for the upcoming traffic switch. R.W. Dunteman Company placed concrete pavement for northbound IL-83 Lane 1 and 2

  • Trine removed existing and installed new storm sewer pipe and structures along northbound IL-83 south of Lake Cook Road and along Lake Cook Road west of Lexington Drive

  • Home Towne onsite to repair temporary street lights by Weiland Road and Lake Cook Road

  • Areatha continued removals on the north abutment of the Buffalo Grove Road bridge and started framing for the new beam seats on the existing abutments

Tuesday, August 11, 2020

  • R.W. Dunteman Company cleaned driveway entrances along IL-83 and continued to work on the cofferdam at Buffalo Grove Creek in preparation for the Weiland Road Bridge construction

  • Trine removed existing and installed new storm sewer pipe and structures along Lake Cook Road west of Lexington Drive. Trine continued making connections for the new water main and installed a new service line at IL-83 and Lake Cook Road

  • Home Towne connected temporary traffic signals to a generator at Raupp Boulevard and Lake Cook Road due to no power from storm damage

  • Areatha continued removals on the south abutment of Buffalo Grove Road bridge and finished excavations for the new footing at the southeast corner of the bridge. Areatha continued installation of piles and started framing on retaining wall A

Wednesday, August 12, 2020

  • R.W. Dunteman Company continued to work on the cofferdam at Buffalo Grove Creek in preparation for the Weiland Road Bridge construction and framed and grade lane 1 and 2 on Weiland Road north of IL-83 for an upcoming pavement pour. R.W. Dunteman Company continued to place temporary pavement and sidewalk along Lake Cook Road for the upcoming traffic switch

  • Trine continued to remove existing and installed new storm sewer pipe and structures along Lake Cook Road west of Lexington Drive. Trine continued to make connections for the new water main along the north side of Lake Cook Road at the IL-83 intersection

  • Areatha continued to drive piles for retaining wall A and framed for the facing wall. Aretha installed forms for the proposed footings at the southeast corner of Buffalo Grove Road Bridge

Thursday, August 13, 2020

  • R.W. Dunteman Company continued to work on the cofferdam at Buffalo Grove Creek in preparation for the Weiland Road Bridge construction and continued to frame, grade, and install dowel baskets for lane 1 and 2 on Weiland Road north of IL-83. R.W. Dunteman Company continued to place temporary pavement and sidewalk along Lake Cook Road for the upcoming traffic switch

  • Trine removed existing and installed new storm sewer pipe and structures along Lake Cook Road west of Lexington Drive and finished the last connection for the new water main along the north side of Lake Cook Road

  • Areatha poured the new beam seats on the existing north and south abutment of the Buffalo Grove Road Bridge and framed the facing wall on retaining wall A

Friday, August 14, 2020

  • R.W. Dunteman Company framed and graded the right turn lane on northbound IL-83 north of Lake Cook Road and placed temporary pavement and sidewalk along Lake Cook Road for the upcoming traffic switch

  • Trine removed existing and installed new storm sewer pipe and structures along Lake Cook Road west of Lexington Drive. Trine installed temporary drainage around the northeast cofferdam of the Buffalo Grove Road Bridge and set frames and grates for the upcoming pavement pours on northbound IL-83 and Weiland Road

  • Areatha continued work on framing the south abutment and wing wall footing on Buffalo Grove Road Bridge and started the removal of the existing box culvert over Buffalo Creek

  • AC Iron installed reinforcing bars for the south abutment and wing wall footings at Buffalo Grove Road Bridge

Saturday August 15, 2020

  • Trine removed existing and installed new storm sewer pipe and structures along northbound IL-83 south of Lake Cook Road and along Lake Cook Road west of Lexington Drive
